Dr. Mehdi Ben Braham, Member of the EMEA Expert Panel and EMNES Fellow, participated at the UfM Workshop on Social Economy in the MENA Region and the Balkans, organised by the UfM Secretariat in partnership with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and in partnership with the Spanish Confederation of Social Economy Enterprises (CEPES). The event took place in Barcelona on 05.07.19This Workshop is the first of a series of UfM events dedicated to Social Economy. It brought together stakeholders, Governments, International organisations and practitioners from both shores of the Euro-Mediterranean Region.
