The Director of the Euro-Mediterranean Network for Economic Studies – EMNES in Egypt, Dr. Chahir Zaki, participated at the IMF Academic Fellowship Program at the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank that took place in Washington, D.C., on October 12-19, 2019.
The Academic Fellowship Program begins with a day and a half of sessions on key policy issues the IMF is working on. This was an opportunity to interact with Fund and World Bank staff as well as representatives from civil society organizations, private sector, academia and others from around the world.
He also attended all the official Annual Meetings seminars and participated in meetings with IMF and World Bank senior officials.
