EMEA President Prof. Rym Ayadi participates in session about “The Mediterranean in a context of economic and social recovery”

The President of the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA, Prof. Rym Ayadi, was the speaker of the online session “The Mediterranean in a context of economic and social recovery”. The session was organised on 15 June 2021 by the Barcelona Centre for International Affairs – CIDOB in cooperation with the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona – AMB, and it was introduced by Ernest Maragall, Vice-president of AMB.

Prof. Ayadi highlighted that “recovery post COVID-19 in the Mediterranean is uncertain. Countries should build their resilience:  learning from past and current shocks. Stress is an opportunity to rethink, progress and bounce back stronger. Preparedness helps absorbing the shock, adapting and transforming.”
